The words from the Rare Words book have been so rare that it is a nice surprise when I actually know several of them like I did this week. Here are my 15 Minute Tweet Tales for the past week:
2/6 – The cultist breaks into a shelter for a black cat for his blood ceremony, but a pit bull escapes his cage and attacks. Theodicy indeed.
2/7 – Sue coaxes the kitten from the tree. “I’ll give you a loving home,” she coos, oblivious to the ochlesis of the cat horde in her house.
2/8 – He refuses to heed his wife’s advice because of his sciolism about grilling. He ends up in the hospital with salmonella and no eyebrows.
2/9 – Her enate belly was due to a tumor, not pregnancy, but she threw herself a baby shower the day before surgery. Black humor kept her sane.
2/10 – After sampling women of all shapes and temperaments, his heuristic approach to dating led him to accept that he actually wanted a man.
2/11 – Angry, he pushes her. She grabs the tapestry to stop her fall and rips off the selvage. It starts to unravel, just like their marriage.
2/12 – “Wow, you body is sui generis.” “You calling me fat?” Her drink dripping down his face shows it’s not a place for flaunting vocabulary.
Play along and write tweet tales for the above words. If you’re willing to share, post them on twitter with the hashtag #15tt or add them below in the comments because I’d love to read them. Any thoughts about this week’s tweet tales or #15tt words?
