After the first two weeks of not even recognizing most of the words from the Rare Words book, I was excited that I actually knew a bunch of them this week. In fact, detritus is a long-time favorite – one of those that really gives the sense of its meaning as it leaves your mouth.
And now here are my 15 Minute Tweet Tales for the week:
1/16 – His proem before he proposes is a long spiel about their love that makes her realize she can’t spend her life listening to him ramble.
1/17 – Jon’s Delphic answer about his wife’s location made Pam wary. She finds the body in her trunk. Body hot potato is just getting started.
1/18 – He was so dejected after his subpar effort that she lied by saying he was the avatar of Adonis. Her future lovers cursed her kindness.
1/19 – The concinnity of his words is hypnotic. She doesn’t even realize he’s dumped her until he bolts, leaving her with the huge dinner bill.
1/20 – The family sniffled during Tim’s panegyric for Bob, but his brother interrupted, “Damn, he was just a goldfish,” and flushed the toilet.
1/21 – The teen ostrich laments her small wings till her mom says to be thankful for her gressorial legs, since guys love gals with great gams.
1/22 – Despite a meticulous clean-up job, her parents bust her for throwing a party: she put the bags of detritus in the curbside trash cans.
Play along and write tweet tales for the above words. If you’re willing to share, post them on twitter with the hashtag #15tt or add them below in the comments because I’d love to read them. Any thoughts about this week’s tweet tales or #15tt words?
