Tweet Tales Tuesday Week 29
July 31, 2012

15 Minute Tweet TalesI’m not exactly sure what happened to trigger it, but last week a bunch of new people started playing 15 Minute Tweet Tales over on Twitter using the hashtag #15tt.  Welcome to all the new players!  It’s been fun having the chance to see so many different takes on the word-a-day prompt.  We even have a few people writing micro-poetry, which is very impressive.  And if you’re on Twitter and not playing yet, what are you waiting for?  Jump in and tweet us a tale! And make sure to check out the #15tt hashtag each day for other tales because I only feel comfortable posting my own in the weekly roundup.  Speaking of… here they are:

7/25 – At her first singles’ night, Barb wonders if she was festinate in dumping Tim – extreme flatulence doesn’t seem so bad in comparison.

7/26 – Viv remembered when her mom’s hugs eased all bumps & scrapes, but she wished for a true nepenthe as she stood at her husband’s grave.

7/27 – She was adroit at manipulating people, and her morals were dark enough to exploit the skill, yet light enough to feel bad about it.

7/28 – They had a magical 1st date. Then he sent the text 'Thanx for a grate nite.' Orthography ran in Nan Webster's blood, so she dumped him.

7/29 – The rich scofflaw's lawyers always freed him, so the cop mislabeled him as a pedophile & tossed him in gen pop to teach him a lesson.

7/30 – BIGFOOT SIGHTING FOOTLESS AS FOOTPRINT PROVEN FAKE! The Sasquatch smiled at the newspaper, satisfied his ruse had made it safe again.

7/31 – When preschool reported her son was a paladin revolting nap time, she felt he'd grow up to be President or a criminal. Turns out both.

Play along and write tweet tales for the above words.  If you’re willing to share, post them on twitter with the hashtag #15tt or add them below in the comments because I’d love to read them.  Any thoughts about this week's tweet tales?
