For the Blogging from A to Z Challenge, I’m having Fun with Fonts. Each day I’ll feature a few I like based on either the look of the font or its name. I’ll also pick a font to inspire one of my tweet tales.
The Renania Double Line reminds me of when I was young and clutched pens together to write because it looked cool. I often used more than two pens, although sticking with two was easier to read. And of course it was always pens with various brightly colored inks so it looked like I was writing via rainbow.

I have no idea what’s going on with Riot Act. I mean, I think I see teeth and eyeballs and intestines, wha? But it was so weird and icky I had to include it.

I am not a rave type of person in any way – in fact, loud music makes me want to curl into a catatonic ball – but I like the fun feel of Rave Queen.

Royal Initialen is another of those that’s a bit hard to read, but I liked how it looks like it’s been formed from metal.

For whatever random reason, the R section was loaded with fonts with fun names. There were so many that instantly sparked crazy images that could lead to interesting stories, like Redneck Zombie, Rat Infested Mailbox, Radical Llamas, and Rabbit On The Moon. But since I only include five each day (and besides most of their actual font designs were pretty boring), I picked the name that made me laugh the most as inspiration for today’s tweet tale: Radio Active Granny.

Nana just ripped the door off the fridge getting her prune juice. Is her experimental arthritis treatment actually creating a geriatric army?
What do you think of these fonts? Do they inspire any stories in your mind? How Resplendent is Molly with her letter R?
