I can't believe we're already a week into 2013! I hope everyone's new year is off to a great start!
After a week of using words from the Rare Words book, I'm starting to think it's actually an erotic book disguising itself as an erudite one. With all the kissing (basial) and crotch polishing (ganosis), it has been a lewd (lenocinant) week over at the #15tt hashtag - some truly blush-worthy tweet tales over there.
Since I'm primarily a kidlit writer, I'm afraid mine don't measure up on the heat meter, but here are my 15 Minute Tweet Tales for the week:
1/2 - Years flow by in prison as eidetic movies play before her eyes of carefree days with her husband. At least the ones before he cheated.
1/3 - The apprentice hated late night ganosis. He shook his tired arm then almost fell off his stool when the statue groaned, "Don't stop."
1/4 - He searches the house for a colletic to fix his grandma's lamp, otherwise someone's getting whipped and his sister is an excellent liar.
1/5 - Her neanic build earns money in LA 2 ways: stunt double for kids & helping cops identify which Hollywood hunks might have dirty computers.
1/6 - Power surges through Amy when she's greeted with lenocinant grins. It will feel even sweeter when she dominates their chess tournament.
1/7 - Wanting to impress her first date, Kim did basial exercises she found online. Wasted effort since she foolishly ate garlic with dinner.
1/8 - Fardea loved her unique name until she moved to her mom's native France, where she was crushed to discover it's a paronym of burden.
Not that I think anyone cares about my blog post titles, but since it caused me a good ten minutes of staring at the computer with my brow furrowed, I thought I'd share what I've decided to do. When I started last year, the number in the post title was supposed to correspond with the week of the year, but if I start over again in 2013 with "Tweet Tales Tuesday Week 1" then I'll have posts with the same title. Chaos, I tell you!
Solutions? I thought about adding a 2013 to each TTT title this year, but that looked awkward to me. Then I thought about spelling out the numbers this year, but then what will I do if I keep this up next year? So I've decided to keep the numbers going - instead of matching the year's week, the number will serve as a running tally. That way when I eventually run out of tweet tales/motivation, I'll know how long I kept this puppy rolling. Surely there's a Guinness World Record out there for consecutive tweet tales. No? Then I'll just have to start one!
Play along and write tweet tales for the above words. If you’re willing to share, post them on twitter with the hashtag #15tt or add them below in the comments because I’d love to read them. Any thoughts about this week's tweet tales or #15tt words?
