This week had the best word of the day so far. Heck, I love this word so much, it just might be my new favorite word, and it’s definitely in the top five. So what is this magical word? Frigorific. It actually sounds like one of those portmanteau smash-up words that teens come up with, but its first known usage was 1667. The definition is not quite as exciting as the sound of the word itself – it means causing cold; chilling – but I think it’s a fun word and will be looking for ways to use it casual conversation.

Babblings of a Boob Tube Junkie
I’m a writer and filmmaker exploring the magic of stories. I’ve always loved to read and watch television and movies, and now I'm creating my own stories via YA novels, short stories, screenplays, and even short films. I’m also an animal lover with a menagerie of pets; and, yes, I’m one of those people who puts party hats on their dogs and makes them “cakes” for their birthdays.
