Tweet Tales Tuesday Week 30
August 7, 2012

15 Minute Tweet TalesA few more new people joined in on the 15 Minute Tweet Tales fun this past week, so there have been even more great stories to read. Search on the #15tt hashtag to see the variety of stories being created from the same word prompt – I’m always so impressed!  And now here are my tales for the week:

8/1 – Watching the medal ceremonies, the joyful countenance of the US women gymnasts and Phelp's quivering lip made me a bit weepy. #truestory

8/2 – The renowned thief took a hiatus to enjoy his spoils. Missing the adrenaline, he shoplifted a pack of gum: caught and jailed for good.

8/3 – He took out his dentures to chase his grandkids with an edentulous smile. Their squeals were the perfect mixture of laughter and fear.

8/4 – Gladys hated how old age had twisted her from utile to useless. The stash of pills in the drawer called to her. It was almost time.

8/5 – With a pristine planet discovered two galaxies over, the wasteland of Earth became the purlieu of those too poor to afford the jump.

8/6 – She became abject when she walked into an empty house. She desperately wanted a surprise party & 83 years seemed a long time to wait.

8/7 – Vi had a large ass thanks to the largesse of coworkers who loved to bake. Thinking it rude to refuse, she bought bigger pants instead.

Play along and write tweet tales for the above words.  If you’re willing to share, post them on twitter with the hashtag #15tt or add them below in the comments because I’d love to read them.  Any thoughts about this week's tweet tales?
